You can make a difference.

Gifts can make an enormous difference in reaching more students. Discover Music regularly speaks with school districts who would love to partner with us, but there is a sometimes a funding barrier. While providing this program is a tremendous privilege, and one we take seriously, we also take seriously our responsibility to pay our teachers, guest artists, studio techs, and studio musicians a fair wage. A gift to Discover Music not only gives a student the gift of songwriting, but also provides work that contributes to a living wage for local musicians. That’s huge.

Employee Gift-Matching Programs

Most employers today match all or a portion of the gifts made by employees to nonprofit organizations. Companies recognize that when they invest where their employees are involved, their gift can really make a difference.  Contact your Human Resources Department to see if your company matches gifts and obtain the necessary forms. If so, complete the required forms and send them to Discover Music at the address above.

Corporate Gifts

Many companies and organizations base their community relations and charitable priorities on the interests of their employees. If your employer has a corporate giving program in addition to the employee matching gift program, consider approaching them about supporting Discover Music.  Contact Tim at tim@discovermusicnow.org to explore how your company can support the work of Discover Music.
